New Live Seminar – How to Build a Professional Website Using Genesis and WordPress
For the Spring we are teaching a live 4 week seminar on building a responsive professional Website using WordPress and Genesis. The entire series is 14 lessons long but it is presented in 2 phases. The first phase is 5 lessons long and in them you will learn how to set up a hosting account, how to setup email, how to manage ftp and finish with installing WordPress for the first time. Because each hosting company is different we teach the first 5 lessons in different flavors for different hosting companies. Currently we offer those lessons for:

- HostGator
- InMotion Hosting
The second phase is 9 lessons long and in them you will learn all aspects of configuring WordPress, organizing your site, installing plugins and adding content. We know there is no single right answer for everyone so we teach these lessons for the two dominant WordPress themes, Thesis and Genesis.
Thesis and Genesis are the two most popular and powerful themes in the market today and in our opinion are ideally suited for creating a small business website.
