Welcome back to Part 3 of Lesson 3 of the How to Build a Website Tutorial Series. In this part of the lesson we are going to learn how login to our website even if there’s no Login link. You may recall that on our site, the way that we got into the dashboard was to come down here and select this log in button.

The very first time I installed WordPress, I did something that made that log in button go away which terrified me and I thought about simply re installing the site from scratch not realizing that there was a very simple solution to this problem, because the chances are, eventually you won’t have a log in link like this on your site.

Ultimately, this will probably become your default method for logging in to your site. That is, while you are on your site or after typing in your site address, all you do is type a slash in there and then type in WP hyphen admin (wp-admin) and that brings up your log in screen. Then you can type in your log in information.

And there you go, you’re back to your dashboard. And it’s as simple as that, the chances are, that will eventually become your normal method of logging in.

That wraps up Part 3 of Lesson 3 in this series. In Part 4, we are going to continue configuring WordPress.

I did not know where to go to get to this, lessen #3 part 2.

Part one left me hanging. I’m a rat in the maze! I always need a “next” or “previous” button

Suggestion: you might consider a link to Lesson 4.
I’ve finished Lesson 3 Part 5 and must back arrow 5 times to find a link to Lesson 4.
Otherwise, this is awesome! Thanks! :-)

Rick, try using the breadcrumb trail at the top and bottom of the page or the “Back to Lesson Overview” link at the bottom of every video

Can’t get video lesson 3 part three and beyond to load. Tried logging out and back in. No luck.

Alvin, sometimes when this happens it is helpful to try a different browser. At the moment, all of the videos are loading fine for me.
