Well trial and error works again  – the control for that seems to be in each row margin – not in the overall header margin  – not sure if thats always true but seemed to do the job ehere for now –  time for a cup of tea!! – thanks Steve

I'm glad you got it working.  Configuring the plugin is definitely an iterative process of testing and adjusting.

Hi Rick

Trial and error doesn't seem to be working for me.  I know you suggested this plugin in lieu of the simple version but I have watched all the videos.  I have just 1 row and 1 column and I just cannot get the header image to line up with the full width background image.  http://onlinevideomarketing.ws…..-campaign/

I tried placing the header image as background in both the column and the widget but padding or margin just pushes anything away. Could do with some help on this one.  I looked at your css but you don't seem to be using plugins that I can see. Glad I don't have hair.

Thanks

Dennis, you need to remove the padding from #header_area .page.  You can do that within the Full Width Backgrounds plugin.

I would suggest that your header image be transparent and that in not include the film strip or the background color.  I would let all of that be done by the #header_area background image.  That way you don't need to try to line up the little film strip notches.

thanks for your help today Rick….all working after the Maestro intervened cool….and maybe this early plugin didn't have the auto update built in.  Lots of lessons learned today.

That's the unfortunate truth that my early plugins were released before I had learned how to create the auto update system.
