Designing HOA membership site would be first to consider. So I know what pie to make.

Therefore:

1) What's to think about:

Rick, please refer to email's I sent you.

2) What plugins and theme to consider?

Privacy is key.  Also like to send a mass email announcement for news and recent infer.  No money is collected.  Just a resource for legalezze: RCW's, CCR's, By Laws, & Minutes.  and what's on each members mind as well as on the boards mind.  Seems the board of 3 decides for the 18 members w/o talking to the 18.  Then whamo, we get something we no like.

I'm trying to make the board more visible to each member.  2 live in Alaska, 1 in San Francisco, 1 across town, & 14 on our street.  And two no have computers.  So a membership site is a start for the 16 who do have computers. More importantly, it begins a tracking process for everyone to access to see what the dang board is doing. Right now, only talk to their fav friends.  Which is in the minority.

Example: We have a major lighting problem entering out street.  City turned down a request. I went around and got the majority to sign a petition ordering the board to sign a contract and pay for it immediately. They did. But did not like what I did.  Nuts to them.  The power of any democracy lies in the majority of the voters. So I took my case to them.  And setting up a HOA site will help to this; as well as make the board more visible on many things they do that are not permitted by RCW's.  Because Washington State Law says that we must obey Washington State Law.

Should be a way for any member to speak his mind.  And check who he wants the message to go to: the whole group or just the board.

Maybe a way for all new info to be broadcast to everyone.

Needs to be a place for things the current board is considering?

What else needs be put in here?  I'm not thinking clearly right now.
