This site contains over 2,500 videos on creating, customizing and maintaining small business websites using WordPress. Over half of them include instruction specific to either the Thesis or Genesis theme frameworks. The rest could be applied to any WordPress site, regardless of the theme used.
In order to make it easy to browse through our content we have divided these videos into 4 groups; Courses, Seminars, Case Studies and Live Answers. You can browse those groups from the menu bar above or the links below.
The courses represent the foundation of the content of our site. You will learn step by step how to build a website, how to create an e-commerce website or online store, how to create a membership website and how to customize Thesis. These courses range from 6 to 16 lessons.View all of our current courses.
Seminars take a specific topic and expand on it in detail. You’ll find seminars on subjects of interest to website owners like How to “Self Host” videos, How to optimize images for the web, How to use complicated plugins like the NextGen Gallery and how to do specific things in WordPress, Thesis and Genesis. In Case studies we take a specific type of website and develop it from scratch. These are usually more complicated than the type of sites we teach in our courses and they often involve substantial custom programming. Browse all of our Case Studies.
Live Answers are answers given to individual questions asked during our Live Call-in Question and Answer sessions. They cover any and all topics related to creating, managing and maintaining a small business website. You can browse the answers by date, or look for them in Topics and Lesson Subjects. We provide 2 other methods of browsing our course catalog. You can browse the catalog by Lesson Subject or by Topic. Each video is given a primary Lesson Subject. The Lesson Subjects are arranged thematically similar to a WIKI. Each video is also tagged with a number of topics. These Topics can be browsed alphabetically.
