Now more links are you know, plain, old ordinary links that you might want to add to it and the way you start with that is you need to create a category of links for your navigation menu. So if we come over here to links, say you want to link to a site that’s not on this site here. In that case, what you do is you come over to links and you would say go to link categories and I’m just going to pick navigation as my link category and we will create a new link category. And then I’m going to create a new link and apply it to that category.

So I want to add links, go to Add New and under Add New, the link is going to be let’s see, byob website. Let’s let that be the link name and the web address is I’m going to add it to the navigation category and I’m going to say Add Link.

And so now if we go to our links, we have byob website link links to the navigation category and all the rest of them are inside the blog roll category. So now we’ll go back to Site Options and add more links and go to the navigation category and hit save and refresh. Now byob website has been added to this and if you select that, it takes you where that link was linked.

So that’s how you would link to some place off of your site and again, this can’t go over here. It goes on the end.
