In this session we show how to change the menu colors in the Agility Skin for Thesis 2 by changing the variable value. This will change the text color for that variable everywhere. Agility has variables for all the text colors including the primary menu color, hover color and the other background color.
Member: On your menu, when you click say an item like say, Services and the webpage switches to Services, the highlighted Services tab, I’m trying to get that color to change to the light blue.
Rick: Well, that’s called…
Member: I’ve got all of the other colors like…
Rick: That’s the current color.
Rick: So when you look at your menu and that’s the top menu… not top menu area, it’s the top menu. Top menu, over to Options, Link Settings, that is your current link setting.
Member: Got it, alright. I got it.
Rick: Now notice how I’m using a variable here? You can easily use those variables yourself. That’s what it’s really intended for is for you to come down here and change your typical link color by simply changing the color here which will change the typical text color everywhere. And changing the menu colors by you know, changing this primary color, the hover color. And then I use the main accent background color… no, I didn’t. What did I use? Primary hover, main… I guess I used the other background color so BC6 as the color for that.
So if you change these 3 colors, primary menu, hover menu, other background color… then you will have changed the colors on the menu.
