In this session we show how to turn off sidebars in a page by simply selecting a “No Sidebar” template in the Page Attributes.
Okay so next we’ve got Mr. Makowski. Brian, how are you doing?
Hey, I’m good Rick. Can you hear me?
I can hear you just fine. Let’s see, so you have a question about how to turn off your sidebars in a page.
Yeah you know what? I kind of worked through that this morning and I think I’m happy with how it came out if you want to take a look at this site?
Yeah now, I’m just going to… this is… you’re going to bang your head against the wall when I show you this but is this a post or a page?
It’s a page.
Okay. Well the way answer to your question Brian is that you use the no sidebars template then. You can automatically take any page. So for example, let’s lok at… this is my NextGen site so if we look at you know, my Mt. Rainier Gallery on NextGen and select edit, right now, we’ll go view the page. You can see it’s got the sidebar o it but if you just take no sidebars….
Oh beautiful. You’re right, I’m going to bang my head against the wall.
Then there are no sidebars. That’s all there is to it. You can’t do that with a post. You can only do that with a page.
