This is the third part of How to Use the Forum tutorial series. In this session, we discuss how to post your question on the forum. In short, to post you simply select the forum title where you want to place your question and add a topic. Give your post a title and descriptive name and then put your question in the body.

Okay so once you’ve figured out where you want to post it, the way you post is to actually select the forum itself by selecting its title. And then you can come down here to add topic. And so I’m going to create a topic just by adding a name here and it’s how to use the forum. So give it a nice descriptive name. Descriptive names are very useful here.
And then you can post a question. I’m going to post videos on how to use this forum. Okay, you can certainly tag it like simple press forum, for example. So you can tag it. You can use little smiley faces on it. If you have it automatically set so that you are automatically subscribed to forums that you post to then this is going to show you as subscribed. If you don’t have it set, you can choose to subscribe to the topic or you could choose simply to watch the topic. But in any case, go ahead and say post new topic and it saves that. And now, your topic is here.
