In this video tutorial lesson we will learn how to integrate Aweber email marketing with our shopping cart and with a “free download” call to action.
We’ll start off by signing up for Aweber and taking a brief tour of it’s interface. Next we’ll configure a list for customers that integrates Aweber and WP eStore so that customers are automatically added to the list upon purchase. Next we’ll create a newsletter and schedule it for publication. Then we’ll create another list for prospects. Prospects will be added to that list when they sign up for a free download. We’ll set up the download and create the sign up form. Finally we’ll create a follow up email that is sent when someone signs up for the free download.
I have chosen Aweber because it is easy to learn and use, it has outstanding customer support and it has more functionality than other email marketing providers that I have used.
