I just uploaded the BYOB Thesis Nav Menu using the Classic Responsive Skin and Thesis 2.1.

The activation failed with the error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function thesis_version() in /home/kaizenor/public_html/wp-content/plugins/byob-thesis-nav-menu/byob-thesis-nav-menu.php on line 106

Any help much appreciated!

David, welcome to the forum.  You are probably getting this message because you are trying to use it with Thesis 2.1.  This only works with Thesis 1.8.5

The good news is that it isn't necessary in 2.1

What are you trying to accomplish with it?

Thanks Rick... I was just sold on the versatility and ease of use of the plugin as described on the website. I didn't see any reference to only working on Thesis 1.8.5.

I would guess then that there is a tutorial for nav menus on 2.1 somewhere on the website.

Thanks!

David

It's primary facility was the ability to move the menu to a different location without using code.  This is a trivial process in Thesis.  It involves dragging the menu box from one location to another in the templates.

Watch the Beginner's Guide to the Thesis Skin Editor seminar for how to manipulate the templates

If you were looking for the extensive menu styling that was also available with that it doesn't currently exist for Classic Responsive.

However both Agility and Carta have EXTENSIVE style editing for multiple menus.

Looks like I need to use Agility or Carta!

Which starts off the most like the Classic Responsive?

You can see why if you see another site I built for the same Client: http://eczematreatmentclinic.com/

Thanks!

David, it looks like you just need a little Custom CSS on that menu.  The only difference between classic r and your example is that the menu items are in tab format.  Is that what you want to accomplish?

If so, give me a link to the site you are working on and I can suggest some code.
