Rick

How do I center the content within the BYOB Mean Menu? (Sandbox site working on.)The goal would be to have equal blank space on either end of the menu and have it still be responsive. I am sure there must be some tips on how to accomplish on the site, but I am failing at finding the info.

The easiest thing to do would be to make each menu item the same width.  I would use a % width.

Humm... if the best solution is to use a % width, I better re-evaluate if a centered menu is the best solution for this site then.

While with a % width I could get the menu centered with the current amount of menu items, should they add more menu items in the future the entire structure would end up being haywire. I am not thinking that re-adjusting a % width would be something they would tackle should they later add a new menu item. I'll discuss the pros and cons about this with them, before I take steps to try and get a % width to work now to center it. Maybe they will prefer to just have the menu sit as it is, so they have an easy/no fuss way to add more menu items in the future if they decide they want to.

Try :

#byob-responsive-menu {
    display: table;
    margin: 0 auto;
}

Pierre ..

Thanks much, I tried the code and it centers the BYOB Mean Menu nicely and seems to responsively look ok on smaller devices as well. I am guessing this code will have the ability to withstand the styling (centering and responsive), should the site owner decide to add another menu item down the road sometime, after I turn the site over to them.

Appreciate your help.

Hi

 should the site owner decide to add another menu item

Yes, it will adjust automagically.
