Hi Rick,

I was trying to set the border style for the menu.  All I really want are dividers between each menu item.  When I select "tabbed" it creates a border around the whole menu.  I found in one of your videos that you can set menu border by entering the appropriate with in the top/right/bottom/left order in the width section.  I set it to 0 1 0 0, but this does not seem to change anything.  I tried it in both the Top Menu and Footer Menu and have the same problem.

Can this be done?

Thanks,

Galina, the css you need depends on which skin you are using.  Which skin are you trying to do this in?

I just realized that was a dumb question - You mentioned Top Menu and Footer Menu which are both in Agility.

The easiest thing to do will be to create a new Agility Supplemental Menu Styles package and set the borders for the menu items there.  Make sure you use the same selector that is being used in the menu package.

Hi Rick, sorry, but I am not clear on what you mean by "Make sure you use the same selector that is being used in the menu package".  Do you mean that I should use .menu for the Top Menu and  #footer_area_bottom .  or do you mean something different?

I tried this and the Agility Supplemental Menu Styles package does not have a border option - am I missing something?

should the existing top menu / footer menu be deleted?

Thanks,

If you want this border to apply only to the top menu then you would use the selector #top_menu_area .menu

The Agility Supplemental Menu Styles does have border settings - open up the Menu Item Settings and look under the various links.

Theses style are supplemental so you want to keep the originals as well.
