I've used the content widget plugin on a few sites and love it!

On one current site it adds a bullet mark to the left of the widget.  The code for a bullet is not in the html code inside the widget.  And the shortcode on the edit page doesn't have a bullet mark next to it in the html view.

On this site the bullets are green triangles.  The content widget is below the home page slider with the text "click here for whitepapers...".

I cannot add text here without a widget (a table might work) because in Google Chrome that text hides under the slider.

Any suggestions?  http://www.hawkeyechannel.com/

Thanks!

Todd, welcome to the forum.  Unfortunately I can't access the page you posted above.  However, it could be that the shortcode is placed "inside" of an existing list.  I can tell you more if I can see the page.

Hi Rick,

This link should work.  Thanks for any insight.

That bullet comes from the following code in your custom.css file

.custom .format_text ul li {
 background: url(images/bullet.gif) left 4px no-repeat;
 padding-left: 15px;
 padding-bottom: 0px;
 padding-top: 0px;
}
You might try adding this to the custom.css file to counter that behavior
.custom .format_text .sidebar ul li{
 background:none;
}
