Hi Rick, I am trying to add a member menu to a site that will only show when a member is logged in. However, when I log in as a member the member menu does not show up  Site url:  http://www.quickpleater.com

I am also using the Simple Nav Menu plugin to give my main menu some styling.

Here are the settings I'm using for WP Menus plugin:

Thesis nav menu:  do not display

Member menu:   above the header————Only Logged-in Users Can See It

Settings for Simple Nav Menu plugin:

above the header

Also, when I'm logged in as WP admin, and I view the site, both menus show up.

Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Angie

I''ve watched the videos, but still can't figure out what I've done wrong.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

The Simple Nav Menu plugin needs to be set to "Do Not Display"

The WP Menus plugin then needs to set where each menu is displayed and who can see the menu.

Thanks Rick, but I am still having problems.  Don't know why I'm not getting this.

I have myself set up as a member in WP emember.  But when I log in, I am not getting the member menu.

I can only see the member menu when I'm logged into WP admin.

Here are my settings:

Simple Nav Menu: Do not display

WP Menu: Thesis Nav Menu Location:  before header--everyone can see

Member Menu: After the header--only logged in users can see

Sorry to be so dense with thisconfused

That suggests that you don't have WP eMember set up to create WordPress Users and you haven't mapped membership levels to WordPress user roles.

The menu plugins rely on the WordPress user system, not the WP eMember user system.  In order to use my plugins with WP eMember you need to synchronize the WordPress and WP eMember users.
