I recently installed the BYOB Thesis Nav Menu plugin, mainly because I wanted to move the Nav Menu from the top of the header to the bottom of the header. That was very easy to do, and worked great.
The problem I am now having is that I can't change the colors of the nav menu. It has a black background with white text. When a menu is selected, and when the cursor hovers over a menu, it is reversed, that is white background and black letters.
When a submenu is accessed, there black letters on a white background. Actually the background is clear, because when there is something under the submenu, it shows up as the background. Since the website background color is white, all the menu backgrounds could be clear, but just show up as white.
Also, there is a checkbox in the BYOB Thesis Nav Menu plugin that says "Remove All Menu Background Colors" and it is unchecked.
I have tried to change the colors in Thesis > Design Options > Fonts, Colors, and More! >Nav Menu without success.
If anyone has any suggestions about how to change the colors, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Brian

Brian can you give me a link to a page where I can see this behavior. I may be able to help figure it out.

Hi Rick
I appreciate your help. The website is:
There is only one menu with a submenu, and that is Prices.
I was also wondering how I could get the size of the type smaller in the Navigation Menu? It is probably small enough already, but I was curious if I could make it smaller, just to see how it looks.
In Thesis > Design Options > Fonts, Colors, and More! > Nav Menu > The font and size you select will be used in your nav menu items: the two entries are "Inherited from Body" and "10 pt", which is the smallest selection available. Would I have to change to a different font to allow a smaller font?
Thanks
Brian

My suggestion would be to deactivate and delete the plugin (which removes all of its settings) and then re-install it. Make sure you're getting the latest version.
For some reason the setting for transparent is sticking with the plugin. The process of deleting the plugin automatically erases those settings.
