Following installation of this plug in version 1.1 I get warning meassages to the right of the main config section within WP menus as follows

How do i resolve these warnings?

Paul - your thesis_182/custom/ folder needs to be writable. Actually given that this is the first time you've received the error the folder is probably named custom-sample. It needs to have a permissions settings of 755 (or 775 on some hosts).
You can set your permissions from your host's control panel file manager or from your ftp client (filezilla).
This plugin creates the css file for the new menu styles. Thus it needs to do this in the custom folder. Although I will create a fix that writes the file to the plugin folder when the custom folder isn't writeable.

Hi Rick
It doesnt matter if the custom folder is 775 or 755 the warning still occurs.I've deleted and reinstalled, I've used different permissions but still the warning appears.
As it happens the warning is not there in version 1.0 of the plug in, so for the moment I'll live with that until you've gotten around to the fix
