Rick

I have a menu after the header.  It uses a dark background with lighter colored letters.

Is there any way to stretch the dark background across the full width of the screen?

Thank-you.

Yes, by using the Full Width Backgrounds plugin and placing that color in the header area.  Which is what I've done in this video - /answers/add-a-background-image-to-the-header-area-using-the-byob-thesis-full-width-backgrounds-plugin/

DONE!

Watched video.  Brushed up on my Paint.NET skills. Created my hand-dandy graphic.  Followed the directions, and everything worked as advertised.

Tweaked some of the colors, header spacing, widget spacing, etc.

I think everything is pretty much in final form.

Very pleased with how it turned out, but I will admit I have never worked so hard on a header before.  Whew!

The first one is always the hardest, so the rest of 'em will be a piece of cake now!

Overall, very pleased.  The BYOB Thesis plug-ins are a real time saver!

Thank-you!

Reece
