Hi Rick,

What is your current recommendation to encourage Tweets, FB comments, + 1's, Pinterest Pins, etc on blog posts?

I installed AddThis for Follows, comments, subscribe,  etc.

Now I'd like to do something to encourage interaction with each post.  Is there a plugin or something that would save me from installing the code from each of the individual social media sites?...and that doesn't slow down load time?  I'm using Agility Nude.

Thanks!

Bryan

I would remove the "Add this" plugin and use the DIYThemes social media boxes instead.  They are very light weight and FAST and they integrate perfectly with Thesis 2.1

Thanks Rick.

I listened to a couple of videos and installed the DIY Themes Social Media Boxes.  I think that I get how to configure them and use them.

So, that covers the "Like" and "Tweet" kind of stuff for sharing of stuff on the page.

Is there also a box for Icons to just allow people to go check out your social media page directly? Or am I missing something on the boxes that I just installed?

No, those boxes aren't links to your social sites. If you have the icons you can create those as image links within a text widget.
