Got this error when trying to upload a picture from my computer - the status line said upload was 100% then this error popped up -

Help I have no idea what to do now - new site, new to WP and certainly new to Thesis ( I am an old computer geek from the 1960-70's, machine language and suchembarassed but this is driving me crazy!!)

Lee, the problem is that you are using an old version of WordPress.  One that predates WordPress 3.3.  You need to upgrade your WordPress to 3.5.2.

As a practical matter almost no-one supports more than two full versions of WordPress old.  Thus any plugin you download from WordPress.org will only support 3.3 and onwards.  Soon it will be 3.4.

Even if you didn't install a new one recently, if you upgraded an older one you'll still run into that problem.  There were huge sea changes in 2.8, 3.0 and 3.3.  The soon to be released 3.6 will also be a new sea change.
