the link above is to the demo site.

The owner wants the site to look like his old site which is NOT WordPress (below):

I truly don't know if he wants the slider at the top in the banner area.

However, if I could just get ONE Static pic into the banner area at the top, that should be sufficient.

I DO have Genesis Extender installed.

Essentially, what I'm looking for is to the banner be the width of the site and about 300px  or so high.   What I have in the demo site right now is too small.

If it's easier for you to work on this in the next Q&A session, that's fine.   Just let me know.

How about using a 1200px wide image (container width) instead of right now a 400px wide image ?

I would create an image the size you want it to be and then set that size in your CSS.  If it were 1200 x 300 then:

.header-image .site-title > a{width:1200px;height:300px;}

And then you'll need to mess with it in the media queries.

It would be quite a bit easier if you simply used an html image rather than using a background image.

1. I tried to sign up for your Q & A for Session #2 on Wed 19th, August 2015, but the GotoWebinar would NOT let me do so.

2. I copied and pasted your code into the Genesis Extender Custom area to no avail.  It only made things worse.

3. I uploaded the banner image to the Appearance > Header

Heres' the site we're working on again:

Thanks for all your help.

Just to comment on your point #1 -- I am suspecting that there is something wrong with GoToWebinar -- I had signed up for the AM Q&A today. I was a few minutes late trying to sign in, but tried to sign in and only got to the screen where it said, 'waiting for the organizer' and it never left that screen.

Then I did have a question I was wanting to ask, and thought would sign up to the later Q& A, (although I usually only go to the AM one), but tried to sign up, and as you mentioned, the GoToMeeting form would NOT let me sign up.

So I am suspecting that something must have been wrong with GoToMeeting today, for some reason -- just posting this info in case it is helpful to Rick for troubleshooting, for some reason.
