The top header for ruach.org is divided from the left 1/4, 1/4, and 1/2.

The left quarter is a widget with html text, the middle quarter is Social Icons, and the right half is Mail Chimp added in the skin editor.

I've been requested to put a donate button in the space that is in the Social icon quarter that is the same one that is in the footer. Is there a way to divide the second quarter with the Social icons in half so I have eighths there, one for the two Social icons and one for the donate button? Or is there a way to add a Social icon in the Agility Social Profiles that will use the code from the footer rather than a font awesome icon (I was told that the 2 donate ones are not acceptable)?

Thanks,
Marcy

Marcy - I don't understand what you are getting at with your second question.

Or is there a way to add a Social icon in the Agility Social Profiles that will use the code from the footer rather than a font awesome icon (I was told that the 2 donate ones are not acceptable)?

However to your first question, you wouldn't need to "divide" the box, although you could with the Agility Sub-columns Box.  I would just add a text box with the button in it to the same column and float the button left and float the social media right

Rick,

If the header is set up as follows:

Screen_1.JPG

can I do what you suggest? Or should I have the content differently selected? I understand what you suggest to do, it just is not sinking in where to do it.

The second question, actually part two of the first question, was that if this is the selection for column 2, the content only lets you pick the Agility Social Profiles, so would I be able to make the donate button one of those? But if I do it your way, I won't need to do that.

Thanks,

Marcy

OK, so you have 2 choices configuring the top header bar.  You can either leave it as it is, or you can choose "I'll put something there myself".  If you leave it as is you don't want to go back later and save the top header bar because you will loose the customization.

Having made that choice you need to open every template and place the donate text box (an possibly the social profiles box) in Column 2.  In terms of arrangement the top box should be the one you want to show up on the left and the bottom box you want to show up on the right.

Then in custom CSS you would float one to the left and the other to the right.

OR

If you've chosen "I'll put something there myself" you could place an Agility Subcolumns box in column 2 and configure it for 2 columns.  Place the text box in one column and the social media in the other.

I think I'll make backups (Skin and BackupBuddy - just in case), then try the Something There Myself option. If I run into snags I can't figure out, I'll reply. Otherwise, as always, thanks for your help.
