I'm working on galleries for many website pages, including https://desertpipes1.com/desert-pipes-chapter-history/desert-pipes-in-the-1980s/. I'm using Photo Gallery as suggested by Rick, the free version. I want to change the margins between thumbnails.
Here is the Inspect Element screen shot I was going by:
The original margins were 4px and 4px. Changing them as here, 24px and 50px, did change the thumbnail margins.
Based on the Inspect Element page, I used this code in the Custom CSS:
#bwg_container1_0 #bwg_container2_0 .bwg-container-0 .bwg-item > a {
margin-right: 24px;
margin-bottom: 50px;
}
I don't necessarily want the margins that large, I just wanted to see them. While this worked on the Inspect Element page, it did not work in my Custom CSS. I've tried what other selectors I can figure out, and can't find what I'm missing.
Any suggestions would be welcome. I have a feeling I'm missing something simple, and just can't see it.
Thanks,
Marcy

OK - I worked on this for more than an hour before I posted here. Then I went and worked on other parts of the site for 2 more hours. All of a sudden, the margins worked! I've been in and out of these pages for the entire time, and it seems like it took 2 hours for this to decide to propagate! So I think it is doing what I want now! Thanks for any help that would have been offered!! 🙂

So you have some sort of caching going on.
