I am trying to use Wishlist to create a members-only section of my site. The site is built on the most up-to-date versions of WP, Thesis, and Agility Nude.

I have it almost ready to go. My last issue is the button on the Wishlist login pages. Wishlist support says it is my theme's styling causing the problem. They offered to fix it if I give them a login, but I want to learn to do this myself.

Can anyone please help me figure out how to fix the login button? No matter what I do it appears all scrunched up like you can see on this page.

It is fine in the sidebar widget. It is just when I use the shortcode that it appears this way

Your styles are currently coming from your custom css using a single selector.

However, you really have 2 different button conditions, so I would use 2 different selectors (as shown below)

Recommendations:

  • use 2 selectors, 1 for each button that way you can distinguish between the two
  • eliminate the height and width properties from the CSS
  • eliminate all instances of !important from your CSS

Here is my suggested code:

.wlmember_loginwidget_input_submit,
.WishListMember_LoginMergeCode input[type=submit] {
 padding:5px 15px;
 border:0 none;
 cursor:pointer;
 -webkit-border-radius: 5px;
 border-radius: 5px;
 color: #f4f4f4;
 background-color: #3333ff;
 font-size: larger;
 margin-left: 50%;
}
