I opened up my admin page for my website - having done nothing since the last time I opened it and it worked, and got this message:

Warning: include_once(/home1/theshift/public_html/becalewis/wp-content/thesis/skins/byob_agility_nude/byob_yoast_compatibility.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/theshift/public_html/becalewis/wp-content/thesis/skins/byob_agility_nude_3-30-14/skin.php on line 24

Can't actually log in at all to the admin part of the site.  What is this? How can I fix it?

Yikes - thanks!!  Beca

Have you just upgraded WP? What version are you using?

Keith

Make sure you backup before upgrading and making changes.
Best results when one question per thread, link to site, version of WP, Thesis and skin.
http://www.kwjassociates.co.uk - Wordpress 5.1.1 – Thesis 2.8.5 - Focus

Standard Troubleshooting Procedure
1. Disable all plugins see if it works
2. Make sure everything is up to date – see if it works
3. Disable other boxes & packages – see if it works
4. Activate a different skin – see if it works
It is almost always the case that #1 fixes it.

Not all may be possible but you should be able to do 1. by renaming plugin folder with ftp.

Answer is probably here:

byob_agility_nude_3-30-14 - I do not think that the numbers at the end should be there.

Thank you everyone for your answers.

Let's see if I can answer these -

Keith, I have been using the theme in that format (it was my version of it) for over a year

I can't even get INTO my admin to check plugins etc - all I get is that message

Yes, I did update to the latest version about a week ago, it was fine then

I think it has something to do with Yoast - but I don't think I have that plugin anymore - and I use it on other sites with the same theme without a problem.

I could go into bluehost and fix something - but not sure what - and don't want to break the site, because the site still works, I just  can't get into admin.

(However, that warning is showing at the top of the site now - becalewis.com)

There are several reasons why this is happening.

You will only sort it using FTP to get at files.

First change the name of plugin folder that will disable all the plugins.

What I would look at second is the error says it is looking for byob_agility_nude which is the normal folder I would expect. However yours is byob_agility_nude_3-30-14.

Okay - will do and let you know what happens.  But, why did it start doing that?

Possibly to do with a Yoast update.

Hi

Make sure to disable any Box/plugin/PHP code, dealing with Yoast, like Serge or Rick "helper" boxes.

Well ... I have the answer. Maybe this will help someone else?  Before doing anything I called Bluehost. Guess what. They were having compatibility problems on some sites when they upgraded to php 5.5  They rolled that site back to 5.4 and all is well. They assure me that the upgrade to 5.6 won't have compatibility problems ...

Anyway - once I got them on the phone it was fixed in seconds.

Thanks for all your help - hopefully this helps someone else too.

Thanks for update. Never considered that, one solution to keep in mind.
