I do hope Rick is well. Glad you are checking up on him. As far as I am concerned Rick is/was Thesis 2.0+. Extremely knowledgeable, customer oriented and actually overly generous with his time and works. I made the mistake of going forward with Thesis instead of another path with more extensive resources and a real company behind it.
Chris Pearson, Thesis's creator, may be a bright technical guy but has pretty much zero business sense when it comes to software. To release a product like Thesis 2.0 without ANY documentation was like shooting yourself in not one, but BOTH feet. Although it was a huge gift to Thesis's competitors.
I wish Rick well. The reality is, what he provided was far more valuable then how he priced it. He also had a gold mine as well, although it was tied to Chris's actions which he was unable to control and predict.
Good luck to you moving forward. I am seeking an alternative rapidly for all my sites.
Let me/us know if Rick is okay.

Latest news I have from BYOB :
Hi, Pierre. Rick will probably be getting in touch with you later this week and will go back to working on byobwebsite very soon. The last few months have been difficult but we should be returning to normal soon.
I'm sorry for the lack of clarity. I'd just rather that Rick explain more to you but he will be back.
As you maybe recall, Rick has a "Carpal tunnel" problem on both hands, (and said so on the forum) and has taken a few breaks off the site a few times in the past. (I'm not saying it's the only cause of it's absence since a while)
Pierre ( postrophe )
