Hi Rick,

A while ago we had a discussion about controlling the order of posts.

Although less sophisticated than other solutions you offered, I chose the Order attribute that was added to the WP edit mode.

Every post got its order, and when clicking a category, the posts appear in the order of the attribute, rather than the date.

And the questions:

1. I do not remember how we added the order attribute in the first place, and would appreciate if you could remind me.

2. The sorting order is just the opposite from what I intended it to be. I invested quite some time in writing the order of the posts, future posts, planning, and it is all backwards. I would appreciate if you could assist me reverse the order that the "order" attribute affects.

Thank you in advance,

Ronen, Agility automatically adds Menu Order to posts, so there isn't anything you have to do to get it.

To reverse the order open up your Query Box and choose Ascending (or Descending) order.

However it may be that you are also using a plugin to do this - something like the "My Category Order" plugin.  You might look at that as well.

At the moment, there is no way to specify ascending or descending order on Category Archive pages.  It is my intention to create a box that will do that, but I haven't done it yet.
