This is the third in a series of lessons on how to use the NextGen Gallery Plugin for WordPress. In this lesson we add multiple images to the gallery using the image uploader. This is one of 3 ways to upload images to the gallery.

So now let’s add a bunch of images. So we go back over to our add gallery images, we’re going to choose our Camp Muir Barbecue, browse again and let’s see if we can take all of these images at the same time. Upload.

Now while this is uploading those things, what we have is a whole variety of…oh, I’m sorry…lost my train of thought there. We have a new storage location for images that we have just created by using this gallery. You know, up until this point, we’ve been using the media library as a place to store images but now, with the installation of NextGen, when we put images in NextGen, it doesn’t store those images in the image gallery or in the Media Library. It stores those images in its own folder system. So that is something to keep in mind.

So now, if we come back and look at our Manage Gallery, Camp Muir Barbecue has 17 images and here they all are. And so, that’s one way to add images to a gallery.
